PRESCHOOLERS (AGES 3 TO 5 YEARS OLD)
Start children off on the way they should go, and even when
they are old they will not turn from it. ~ Proverbs 22:6
This is an exciting time! Your child is no longer a "toddler", though so much more development will occur before we consider him / her a "big kid" ... Ages 3 to 5 are the preschool years. They are energetic, enlightening and entertaining. A preschooler is a child not yet old enough for school; a child attending preschool (Merriam Webster, Inc.). It is our responsibility to help our children transition int society as well as we can for these young years. For some, this will mean attending pre-school and other 3 to 5 year old will stay at home with mom; maybe join a MOPS play group or a pre-homeschool program.
This is an ideal time to transition your child from the church nursery to the appropriate bible study / children's church.
