Kindergarten (Age 5 or 6)
"All I Really Need To Know I Learned In Kindergarten" is one my favorite poems and viewed as a guide for what children should have learned by the time they enter 1st grade. As the "first 5 years" end, we embark upon the "School Age" stage of child development that lasts up until the pre-teen years.
Whether your child or theirs, these young minds need shaped in all of the right directions (emotionally, socially, spiritually, educationally). Teach school age child to be kind and loving to one another as God instructs them to be. Bully Prevention programs are not as developed as we would like them to be, therefore you need to help your school age child and other children with strategies for dealing with such behaviors according to the Word.
