FAMILY RESOURCES

WIC (Women, Infants, and Children)
WIC is a program that services pregnant moms, breast feeding moms and children up to age 5 with their nutritious foods program. Pregnant women and nursing mothers get a complete package of dairy (milk, cheese, eggs), grains (bread, rice, cereal), tuna fish and peanut butter. WIC also gives vouchers for vegetables and fruit. They provide infants with formula and babies with milk, cereal and baby food (fruit and vegetables). They provide children ages 1 to 5 with the same daily, grains, peanut butter and vegetable vouchers. This is an income guideline program, but most will qualify if your income is around or below $2000 a month (WIC income guidelines).
